Hello. You are among the first visitors to World Design Council.com which has been launched with the intention to build a global community of designers from all sectors of the design discipline, graphic, product, architecture, etc. to give an integrated viewpoint on design innovation, trends and ideas from around the world, with a particular slant on sustainability, be it energy efficiency in architecture, sustainable materials in product design or tangible human benefits through clarity of visual design - in essence, anything that improves our world while impacting lightly on global resources.
Currently we're seeking 150 members from around the World to spearhead the idea, sit on the Council and form the defining body of what this site will become. This process may take some time as we're wanting to ensure the highest standard of quality from those members.
As the idea gains traction (probably a 1-2 year process), then it will become a force within the websearch world, with the outcome being that the initial council will gain a high profile and authority through credible mass.
If this sounds of interest to you, we'd like to invite you to submit 3 projects and your profile to form the initial content of the site. If successful, your membership to the foundation body will be granted.
